Default Games that makes(made) you happy!
Im stuck. There are few games(0) right now that really makes me feel like I did when I first played Age of Empires, first played some early Counter-Strike version with a couple of friends or even ran around in pre-Searing thinking Conjure Phantasm was the best skill ever(Yes, GW was pretty much the first Online RPG that really got me).

Pretty much verything I play nowadays is compared with these games, every online RPG I play is compared with GW, and never delivers, every FPS I play is compared with those first few rounds in CS that I played, and every RTS is compared with AoE.

Give some tips on games(new and old) that gave you the joy that is so rare today. The hype is always better nowadays.

Also, when I did N/Me in pre, I also thought conjure phantasm was really strong.

Try playing Halo 3 with a friend in that really really hard mode (forgot the name) cuz its fun. Army of Two is another one.

Morrowind.

Jumping everywhere, searching every caves, buying every armors, finding every items.
And sometimes, killing everyone (but then I didn't save because killing a whole town may be fun, but some people were needed for quests and I didn't want to be stuck).

a couple of old ps2 games i enjoyed:

God of War
We love katamari

both are short but fun. plus, you can pick em both up for like $5-20 depending on where you shop. i cant think of any really long great games at the moment...

oblivion and fallout 3 are decent i guess

Starcraft... nothing says hi when you sent a swarm of zerglings into someone's base!

MGS 1, 2, 3, and 4... best gaming franchise in history of gaming in my opinion!

and..... GW first ever free (no monthly fee) MMORPG!

Get a group of like 5-10 friends over and play some 2v2 or 1v1 Super Smash Bros Melee. Some of the best multiplayer memories of my life come from that game...

I have fondest memories of Fallout 1 & 2, and Baldur's Gate 2. <3 Definitely happy games for me. Or get a bunch of friends and play Total Annihilation! Old but awesome.
